Welcome to Bioinformatics for Biologists!

This self-paced training will introduce you to free publicly available knowledgebases and programs commonly used by biologists to perform genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, and systems biology analyses. This course is designed specifically for people without a programming background. While no prior computational knowledge is required, you should have an understanding of cellular biology, especially genetics.

To begin, I recommend taking a few minutes to explore the course. You will see the course is divided into several shorter units. All units have links to videos and readings to familiarize you with the course material followed by a project-based homework assignments and exams. Please briefly review the material you will cover in each unit and preview any assignments you will need to complete the training.
